I really cared about not stepping on anyone's toes or causing inconvenience, and to avoid being inconsiderate myself. Sadly, I found that many simply didn't care, and I was often the one being stepped on.
I can definitely relate to that! It's just a sad reflection on human life that so many people don't care...and take advantage of those who do.
The worst thing is, as you've said, being paired with someone so opposite. It has become as if I would always have something to nitpick over with.
