We don't hear much about these cosmological events nowadays but in olden times solstices and equinoxes were significant markers of different kinds of plannings throughout the year.
If you are into ancient architecture, you must know, most of them are somehow linked to some kind of celestial activity... pyaramids are aligned to true north. Stonehenge is aligned with solstices. Feels crazy to imagine how aware of the world they were. I go out and can't remember if I saw the moon last night. Getting dumber sitting behind the screen all day long.
Everything falls in the fall...the leaves, the temperatures, the mood...
I was so tempted to come and have a bite of this cake.

It takes me by awe every single time I think about it or come across this information. We human beings are truly amazing. I mean, just look at what they were able to understand and accomplish... It’s incredible to think how deeply aware they were of the world around them and passed down.
We think we’re so advanced today, but sometimes I feel like they had a much deeper awareness of the world around them.
