Ustye-Kubenskoye. Part 2

After visiting the Ustye there were completely different sensations, which differ from the impressions after Belozersk. Maybe it’s because I was in Ustye for the first time, and I’ve already seen Belozersk.

It is noteworthy that the Resurrection Cathedral in Ustye is almost identical to the Resurrection Cathedral in the center of Vologda.

The Petrovka river flows nearby, which flows into the Kubena here.

The cathedral needs restoration.

At this point, boarding takes place, which ferry people to the other side of the river.

The road bridge across Petrovka does not visually inspire confidence, but I saw how a truck drove over it.

The water in the river is very dark. In northern rivers, the color of the water always frightened me.

Kubena is a fairly wide river, especially in the area of ​​its mouth. On the opposite bank is the Church of Athanasius the Great in the village of Chirkovo.

How glad I was when I saw my usual gentle sandy shores with pebbles!

On the banks of such rivers, the boat will always be an integral attribute and the main vehicle.
