Bright spotted street. Part 3

in WORLD OF XPILARlast month

Excessive spotting is not so easy to photograph. When you look into the distance, you see a lot of objects, and when you look through the camera's viewfinder, this spotting dissolves into order.

Yes, the city is not small and there is a place to capture this spotting.

But I was in Moscow and tried to film the same thing...and you know, the capital does not differ so much from the regional center in terms of piles of objects.

By the way, there will definitely be posts about Moscow spotting later!

It's really not an easy task to assemble a lot of elements in one place, and even with people.

You can make a lot of pictures without people, but it will be a different genre, and less interesting for the viewer.

You want to look at such pictures both large and slightly distant as a general pattern.

It is difficult to do something like this on a regular lens, especially on a wide-angle one.

Of course, with an ordinary glance (and this is just a wide angle), you can see many elements as spots, but they will not be perceived that way in the photo.

This is already a feature of the perception of the picture, which differs from the perception of real life.

Not everyone sees distant objects well, and in general it is difficult to focus by tunnel vision.

And a picture taken with a telephoto lens allows you to look at the world differently.

It turns out to be a bit surreal, since our eye is not able to see either.

Street photographers, and documentarians in general, treat tele focus with a degree of disdain.

This distorts reality, but what is the main thing for a documentalist? That's right, the reflection of reality is without distortion and as reliable as possible.

The only people who really like telephoto lenses are the reporters and those who shoot wildlife.

And it turns out that I entered the street genre with creative techniques from the reportage.
