Grayish spotted street. Part 1

Here comes the new wave of the spotted street! Every time I try to explain what it means to me in general and why I make such pictures. I'll try to explain it differently this time.

I don't remember when I wanted to collect a lot of objects in the frame, but judging by the revised archives, it turned out that I have been doing this for a long time.

I didn't realize this as a creative technique yet, but I was already trying to create piles of various objects in the picture.

I think it all came from the graphics.

And the graphics themselves went on quite a long time ago, I'm not afraid to say that even from film times. And that's a long time ago!

But when I focus on a genre or a creative approach, it means that I start creating something consciously.

There were moments when I was enthusiastically shooting with a telephoto lens, compressing the space.

And then there was such a wave of spotty street that I didn't want to distort the space, but the creative approach remained based on spots.

It seemed to me that the telephoto lens was something artificial and looked like a cheap trick.

But later I started shooting on tele lens again, and all because I remembered physics.

If you strongly crop any photo taken at a standard focal length, you will get an image like a long focus.

I've known this feature for a long time, but I remembered it when I bought myself a new smartphone that has a high-quality approximation.

So, the telephoto lens can partly be considered a strong framing of an ordinary picture.

Yes, the depth of field will be different, but the space will remain the same.

And what if you strongly crop an image taken with a long focus?

There are such pictures in this collection!

And everything suits me, because I get that very spotting – a pile of heaps of details.

I used to shoot minimalism, but now it can be called maximalism!
