Rooster river

The Rooster is a river in the Kaduysky district of the Vologda Region, a right tributary of the Suda River. The water is fresh, the river is not navigable. The length of the river is 59 km. The Rooster flows out of the Semizerskaya Chist swamp, from where it heads northeast through the territory of the Rukavitsky rural settlement and flows into the Suda opposite the village of Andogsky.

I love all the water bodies, all their diversity.

I like both stormy and fast rocky rivers, and forest rivers with a mirrored surface of water and almost black water.

I managed to visit the lower reaches of the river, where the meandering of the riverbed is simply off the scale.

There is no place where the river flows straight.

There is a bend for every hundred meters!

And there is a pine forest around.

The flow of the river is not visible at all – it feels very strange when you understand that it is a river.

If we had more time, we could make a lot of interesting plots with mirror geometric reflections.

But most importantly, I would just spend the day here, not doing anything, but just contemplating the beauty and enjoying the perfect silence.

Sometimes it is useful to be in such places – it is sobering from everyday life.

It's a pity there are no such places nearby...And maybe it's good!
