The moon must be filmed with a telephoto lens to make it look bigger against the background of distant objects.

But there are very few available camera angles where the moon rises and sets.

Moreover, it is not always possible to capture an Earth satellite at all due to weather conditions.

The moon often comes out and sets in the daytime when the sun is shining. Because of this, it is not visible at all near the horizon.

And in the evening, only the setting month or the rising full moon looks good in the frame.

The darker it is outside, the brighter the moon and the higher the probability that the oan will be overexposed.
