Coloured drawing of a sad Lion

Hello friends,
Today i want to share my latest coloured drawing with you all which is a drawing of a sad lion. While a sad lion cause lately I've been through a lot and seen some things. I decided the system is meant to break you and keep you down. Inflation in my country is getting worst by the day our currency is also losing value. We are a country with so much potential but unfortunately everyone is out for there pockets. I'm not so happy cause it's getting hard to survive and it almost December where the price hike actually happen if we are experiencing this at this time how out it be then. GOD help Nigeria. In just want to express my feelings.

I started this drawing with the rough sketch using a 2B pencil in other to get a light sketch then i used my coloured pencil to build the drawing starting from the eyes. The eyes always gives you a perception of how the drawing would go. After the eyes i went for the nose to give me an idea of how the face would look, i used a 10B Bianyo pencil for the lines and the dark shades of the image. I want on and on, from the head to the ears and the hair. Then i used the 10B Bianyo pencil to create a dark shade on the hair and i was done with the drawing.
I would be using this drawing as my entry to the pencil coloured drawing contest.
