PSG 2-0 Liverpool

Ok, Liverpool lost against Paris Saint Germain in Paris. The image is of PSG first goal, one attacker against four defenders and still Doue managed to kick the ball and score. Just a little idea into how bad Liverpool's defense really is. Worse thing is, if anything the second goal was even more of an own goal than this one. And Paris Saint Germain had a lot of other chances, Liverpool's goalkeeper was great stopped at least four shots that should have been goals, Dembele hit the post and PSG had a lot of other chances that failed to go between the goal posts.

A terrible game by Liverpool, I don't know if it is incredibly bad coaching by Slot or the players are not up to it, but it seems the team has nothing to offer. By this time the new players should have adapted and we should be seeing fluid football, but that is not happening. I am not saying these are bad players, just that they have not clicked, so I really, really think the problem is Slot.

Another thing about the game, the referee gave a penalty shot for PSG but changed his mind after seeing the replay and he was correct. But later in the game Konate definitely made a penalty when he pushed a PSG player and the referee nor VAR even considered it. Pretty bad on the ref team, OK, Liverpool is my team but frankly that help is not needed, if we don't deserve to go through that is it.

In summary I think Liverpool were spared a thrashing, it could have easily been a 5-0 loss. Next week at Anfield, due to it being only 2 down Liverpool actually have a chance of going through. No, they do not deserve it and I doubt they will, but the chance is there and funnier things have happened.
