The cat enters the J which is the beginning of the royal flush and represents his provider Saul, this would be the beginning of the line and then goes to the Q I think it is his girlfriend who moves away from him when the murderers arrive his house.

The cat disappears between the king's cards in the queen because Dale has to escape from the corrupt police and the drug dealer who want to assassinate him for witnessing a murder crime.

The J and Q cards would be the two assassins sent to kill Dale and Saul

Marijuana, alluding to the fact that the whole film revolves around this, in addition to the murderers entering one of them smokes a thread and looks like an athlete. The Q kills Saul's friend Rem.
