New drawing: Mike Tyson.
Good morning everyone,
I bring to you my new drawing which is a drawing of Mike Tyson. He is one of the best heavyweight boxers in the world and even known as the “The Baddest Man on the Planet”.
The main goal of this drawing is to get more resemblance with the reference photo as much as possible without grid. Whenever I do bigger drawings, I normally use grid for guidance and perfection but when I sketch I don’t as a way of practice. Without grid then, I try to get enough resemblance in the drawing with the reference photo.
The drawing was done with graphite for the initial rough sketch then I developed the rest with charcoal pencil and charcoal dust. I also used miniseries eraser for some highlights. I made the drawing on white pelican paper and I got the reference image from this source .
