Good morning everyone,
This beautiful morning, I want to show you my ongoing portrait drawing. These past few days has been an hectic one as I've barely had time for myself. Admist that I even fell ill but thank God I'm up and doing today and I'm grateful to God for that. This drawing is the last commission I took for this year and I never even wanted to take it before but I had to because they are family.
Its a big drawing and its a couple drawing. Also I have until Christmas to get it done, unfortunately for me I'm a slow drawer which means I have to dedicate more time on the drawing.
Anyways, I was able to complete the man's drawing day before yesterday and this week I'll try my best to complete the lady's drawing. It is a pencil drawing and I used charcoal dust, charcoal pencil and graphite only. I learnt a lot while on this portrait and I'm so glad I took the drawing. Now I can shade larger portion faster by using foam as the shading medium. Also I can get clean and smooth blending faster by shading first with graphite and blending with charcoal dust.
