ORI OLOKUN (SOAP CARVING).

Hello everyone today have been so stress going up and down trying to achieve my assignment of which today has been the last day of submission so have been working on this soap casting for two weeks trying to depict a Yoruba legend call ori olokun the yoruba native speaker the shows and tell about the yoruba cradles. The journey of Yoruba race.
I picked up the soap and wanted to have carving method.

This is was even my first time holding soap meant for washing turning it to art pieces though the assignment was quite competitive and showing our level of broadness in art.
I start by engraving and carving the wastage out of the concept.

I try to follow my way of drawing applying it on the carving too firstly work on the blocking socket form of face before going into detail.

Coming down to soap carving and working with realism and naturalism the end result was literally interesting with the scarification putting on the face.
