This beetle is beautifully designed by nature. We have it enough in my locality and one funny character about this beetle is that it's a drunk. It drinks much of palmwine and when the palmwine tapper goes to bring down his pot of palmwine more than 20 pieces of this beetle would be found drunk and weak in the pot of the palmwine.
It's also edible over here. It's sweet and crunchy. It's eaten fresh or roasted but most advisable to roast as it could give cough if eaten raw or fresh.
Again it'sfarmers friendly it does not destroy the farmers crops.
