Today, I present to you my best photographs of this year. I may have shared these photos in previous posts on this platform, but today I’m sharing them all in a single post. I hope you all enjoy these photos very much. I have taken many beautiful photos this year that showcase the beauty of my Kashmir Valley. After this post, I will bring a part 2, where I will share even more photos. I hope you all will like these photographs.

1.Sunset at kanikoot top.

A few days ago, my uncle called me and asked me to bring a few liters of diesel to Kankoot Bagh, where he had taken his tractor for plowing. Since the work took a bit longer, he ran out of fuel and had no way to get back, so he called me to bring some fuel. I took a few liters of diesel to him so he could finish his work and return home. On the way, as I hurried up near the hilltop, there was a breathtaking sunset view that I didn’t want to miss. I parked my vehicle on the side and captured this photograph, which I really like.

2. Sunset near Nilnag lake

I took this photograph on my way back from duty when I reached the top of the hill. This photo was taken during a memorable moment this year, and I remember clearly the feeling I had while capturing it. The view was amazing and magnificent, and I didn’t want to miss it. I parked my vehicle on the side and clicked this photograph. The hill seen in this photo marks the endpoint of our district, beyond this point, the Kashmir division ends, and the Jammu division begins.

3.Sunset view near Badipora

I took this photograph on Eid when I went out with friends. While returning, just as I reached Badipora, I saw this view. I took out my phone and captured it, even though my phone’s camera doesn’t have the resolution to capture such moments with complete clarity. Still, I try to capture these kinds of moments and views on my phone. In this photograph, along with the mountains, you can see the moon and a small star next to it. This was an amazing view for me.

4.Sunset view near Nigeen lake

I took this photograph on my boss’s wedding day, which was held at Nigeen Club, located near the edge of Nigeen Lake. After having the feast, we decided to spend a little time outside, and that’s when we saw this view. I couldn’t resist keeping my phone in my pocket after seeing it, so I quickly took it out and captured this beautiful view.

5. Crystal clear stream flowing through Draktolan valley.

A few months ago, when I went trekking with friends, I saw this river while walking through Draktolan. This river flows right through the center of Draktolan Valley, carrying crystal-clear water as it moves forward. It creates a very beautiful scene, so I captured it on my phone.

6. View of very old guest rooms at Yousmarg.

When I set out for Yousmarg with my friends, we had heard in the forecast that it might rain in the coming days. Despite that, we were determined and went ahead with our plan. While sitting in Yousmarg, it got very boring inside, so I convinced my friend to step outside, and we sat there as the rain poured down, but the experience in Yousmarg was amazing. Below us was a water reservoir, and above it was a lush green carpet of grass, surrounded by forests and hills, with a guesthouse in the middle creating a stunning view. I captured this scene, and I didn’t realise it would turn out to be such beautiful photographs.

7. Beautiful view of a irrigation channel while on way to Draktolan.

A long time ago, when there was a scarcity of water for irrigation in our area, the local people tried to create small irrigation canals by cutting through the hills in the forest. However, they were not successful in bringing water here, so they left these canals unfinished. When we go trekking towards Draktolan, we can see these canals running alongside the hills, creating a very beautiful view. During a trip this year with my friends, I noticed these canals, and they looked quite picturesque, so I felt it was essential to take a photograph of them.

I selected these photographs to share with you, and I have many more that I will share later to keep your interest. I kept this post short so it wouldn’t be too time-consuming for you. I hope you enjoyed these photographs and will motivate me, as I only have my phone and take these photos with its camera. I have a great passion for photography, and I hope to have a good camera in the future, which will help me further pursue this hobby.

Thank you!
