Many fishermen will tell you that, even though they might not have caught any fish, a day spent fishing was thoroughly enjoyable. After all, it’s called “fishing,” not “catching.”

I feel the same way about drawing. Sometimes you’ll create a good one. Other sketches, like this one, may be a mess. But the act of drawing felt wonderful.
