My new book is out: Double Vision, Waking Dreams
Hello, Steem friends. As you know, I haven't been posting images for the past several weeks. It's not because I have forgotten you, but because I have been finishing my first book:
This project, which took more than a year to complete, has now been launched. Double Vision, Waking Dreams is hardbound, 160 pages, with 80 images accompanied by my stories about the inspiration and genesis of my work.
Copies are on their way to Amazon and other distribution channels, but you can already order it directly from me. The book retails for only $39.95, with low flat rate shipping in the continental US.

It is a special pleasure to share this with you, as you've been among the first to see my work in this format, in real time as I was producing it.
The book is its own, self-contained piece of work, and I have worked hard crafting it as such. But it does share a lot of the feeling of the posts you have been seeing, featuring my paintings and my words in combination. Today, I am happy to present these efforts in the form of a real book—beautifully designed, professionally edited and printed—and I hope you will check it out.

Hi John Michael, it is a good timing I was just online and saw your mentioning immediately. It is such a pleasure to see the book now, I like the cover it is beautiful and I am pretty sure that content is even better.
I would love to buy your book, we live in UK but we have residency in Germany too, I wonder if because of Europe it is then easier for us to get it from Amazon.uk or Amazon.de.
What is your thought?

I am currently looking into making the book available on both those marketplaces. The reality is that for a tiny operation like mine this process is complex and kind of expensive. It looks like they will ship to the UK for about 17 USD, which is less than half the lowest shipping charge I could offer you if I sent the book to you directly from California. You also would not be liable for any import fees by buying on Amazon. It could be an option to consider, as realistically it will take me a while to offer anything better...
