Hi friends!
Now we will make a grid of 14 horizontal boxes by 8 vertical boxes.
That means we could draw 2 rows with 3 and a half knots on each.
The easiest way to draw interlacing patterns is to start with the external boxes first.
Then, fill the inner boxes with interlacing lines as shown below.
Repeat the process, but now with a wider stroke.
The same for the inner lines.
Outlining the strokes with black to reveal the interlacing.
Following the path through the intertwined lines, we can see that it is a single endless line, even though the grid gives us a common factor between the row and the column (2).
