Christina Motta’s sculptures - Brigitte Bardot
Hi friends!
Visiting the picturesque coastal town of Buzios, Brazil, along the beachside pedestrian promenade, we find two iconic sculptures by talented artist Christina Motta that stand as silent narrators of the town's past and its transformation.
One sculpture is a tribute to legendary French actress Brigitte Bardot, who, in the 1960s, visited Buzios and unwittingly changed its destiny. Captured in bronze, Bardot sits elegantly on a bench, her gaze fixed on the horizon as if recalling the days when she wandered these beaches, enchanted by their untouched beauty. Her visit brought international fame to Buzios, turning it from a sleepy fishing village into a glamorous tourist destination.
The sculpture captures the young Bardot in a moment of serene beauty, sitting gracefully on a bench.
I hope you liked it!
I wish you a very nice day!
