Drawing on Kraft paper II
Hi friends!
Watch the video to follow the development of drawing/painting.
After applying a blue-grey layer as a base colour, I continue painting with darker colours at first. (This colour is dark brown, not black as it looks in the picture).
Blending the colour with the fingers is the best because it blends and compacts gently at the same time.
Then an intense blue.
Then, a lighter blue.
And so on until we reach the lighter colours, white in this case.
To blend finer details I use silicone brushes.
The result.

When seeing that brown chalk I wonder how it is called, there is often the names like burnt umber or chocolate, but never called brown. Using just black it is becoming dirty when then blending with other colours.
You are right, Stef. The right name is burnt umber.
