Se trata de un chinche bastante grande de unos 3 a 4 centímetros de longitud, además el tamaño y forma de sus patas traseras le da apariencia de mayor tamaño y ferocidad.
Su nombre cientifico es: Acanthocephala femorata, acá en la zona donde vivo le llamamos chinche de la guanabana pues le gusta mucho esa fruta. También se le dice chinche de patas de espinas o de cabeza espinosa.

It is a fairly large bedbug, about 3 to 4 centimeters in length. Additionally, the size and shape of its hind legs gives it an appearance of greater size and ferocity.
Its scientific name is: Acanthocephala femorata, here in the area where I live we call it the soursop bug because it really likes that fruit. It is also called thorn-legged or spiny-headed bug.

Es mas de color marrón oscuro, pero en las fotos se observa de color negro azulado, quizás por la hora, además había llovido y estaba nublado.
Es herbívoros (y no es pariente directo del Chipo que transmite la enfermedad del Chagas) pero es una plaga para los cultivos, especialmente la frutas y flores. Acá se le busca combatir, pero su numero tampoco es tan alto.

It is more of a dark brown color, but in the photos it looks bluish black, perhaps due to the time of day, and it had also been raining and cloudy.
It is herbivorous (and is not a direct relative of the Chipo that transmits Chagas disease) but it is a pest for crops, especially fruits and flowers. Here they seek to combat it, but their number is not that high either.

Procedimiento | The procedure
Espero hayan disfrutado de nuestra sesión de fotos, fue una sesión en vivo, directamente de la naturaleza, emplee mi cámara A7S del celular en modo macro con zoom de hasta 2X. Luego relicé algunos recortes y edición en iluminación y color.
I hope you enjoyed our photo session, it was a live session, directly from nature, I used my A7S cell phone camera in macro mode with zoom up to 2X. Then I did some cropping and editing on lighting and color.
