B&W PHOTOGRAPHY AND ART CONTEST WEEK #070 ~ Panning
Panning photography - or intentional camera movement - is a passion of mine. The blurred background gives an impression of speed and separates the subject from the background. This takes a certain amount of practice and most attempts are failures.
My method is to put the camera in shutter speed mode at 1/20th and turn with the subject as it passes while firing off a burst of a half dozen shots. With a bit of luck, one of the shots will be in focus. The real trick is turning at the right speed.

Hey, @bambuka! Yes, I know you from another site but I'm probably not going to be active over there... I enjoy this community and I very much appreciate the offer of support here. I'm not sure I can meet your requirements, however. My main concern is the requirement to make a post every day. I can try but I am 100% sure that I will miss days here and there.

The support program rules are not rigid. You are simply delegated an additional SP to enable much more activity. It is in your best interest to use this time (2 weeks) to raise your own SP and gain more freedom.
You are an experienced photographer and you have great photos. I especially like the photos of birds. I think your posts will find a decent rating here and help you quickly gain enough weight for a good start.

Ok, well if I can get a delegation that would be cool, thanks a lot! I'm not very consistent about posting, however. I've been stuck for a couple of days now for something new to post about. I mostly just enter contests.
