How an Edit changes the Story - Imprinted by LightCaptured

in WORLD OF XPILAR11 months ago

The weather forecast for the next few days here is just brutal.

-10 C, -15 C, at some spots, even lower temperatures.

The only positive side, eventually, it will not snow.

Anyway, this reminded me of the view I had from my hotel room in Tromsø, a cold day I enjoyed as really, the view over the city from the large window was just great...

However, that isn't the main topic of my post today but instead, how post-processing a picture could totally change the story of it.

Acid future and cinematic past, with a full range of sentiments and emotions in between. Could you tell any? What story do they tell?

The last image of this series, is the original, RAW, non-processed photo.

I had read somewhere that Hollywood cinema uses similar tricks to create deliberate, artificial and false representations of entire countries when it portrays them in its films. I think it was about Mexico, and the Eastern Bloc for sure. It just puts some kind of darker filter and that's it, the goal is served in people's minds. This is certain because people's brains are easily manipulated in general, and anyone with a little brain in their head would benefit from this. For example, in other cases, travel agencies and airline companies take advantage of this to create misconceptions about countries even just by words: "Escape the cold winter by going to this sunny country"☀️🌴🛬 In real life, the winters in this sunny country are also hard to live through, for one reason or another, but that would not be known by the poor doomed deluded man...
And as for the temperatures here at the moment, although they have not yet reached -10 and -15, and although in previous weeks it was colder than now, it is a great challenge for my health condition at the moment, and I am just counting the days to see if I will survive in the end.🤞🧣☃️

Yes... Divide and conquer, and when there isn't any enemy, one must be created...

I hope you survive this cold winter without major issues! :)

Keep it up!
