Just... a day
It is one of those days when my body hurts, all its parts, but I know I'm going to sleep like a baby.
There is a good reason for that.
At noon, I suddenly decided to check the weather forecast and I realized that the next five or more days it will rain.
So not much gardening.
The decision has been taken. One quick cup of coffee and I put on my gardening clothes and went outside.
One side I love about gardening is that I get satisfaction quickly.
Just let me compare that work with software development. Just for instance :) One developer or a team works for weeks, or months, or sometimes years, I've been on such projects and meanwhile the project changes, people come and go, and it is not unusual for a project to be terminated and not see the daylight as we say.
I did only basic stuff today - trimmed some bushes and trees, cleaned the ground around the trunks of few trees, removed some moss from the lawn, watered some parts of the lawn where I planted seed last week.
It is still too cold to plant edibles.
The other side of gardening is that I often steal moments. Pictures in the sky, partial landscapes. Macro life around me, as I hear the bees and other insects.
It is a bit sad we, and here I mean in terms of global humanity, kinda lost the connection with Mother Nature.
However, it is very easy to reestablish that connection. I am absolutely certain about that!

Wow beautiful ❤️
I think you'll be interested in this...

I think that remember talking to you about it so I'd be interested in hearing your thoughts.
I see a green screen-like logo at the top right-hand corner and clicking anywhere on the image opens it in another browser tab.
I am not sure we've discussed that matter but is there anything else I should be checking here? :) What's the idea?
Yes - that's it 🙂
I thought I'd discussed the idea with you before - so that photographers can show off their work in higher resolution without needing to write code. It was a while ago now so I've probably got myself all confused!
It's a nifty feature, well done :)
Thinking more about it, what do you think about enabling/disabling it on a post level?
I hope such a feature isn't very complex to implement.
It would be awesome if I can disable it on specific posts as I license some of my photos with few stock photo agencies and I see it's easy to right-click and download the photo to the local drive as jpeg.
I hope you see my point and I think the feature should be enabled by default.
That wouldn't be straightforward as I'd need to make changes to the database (Hivemind).
If you're uploading high resolution images to Steemit, it's already possible for people to download the version you've uploaded (although it's not as obvious how to) - so if you want to protect the high res. version, it's best to only ever upload a lower resolution version.
Thanks - I'm working on a solution that's even better 🙂
Thanks for getting back on those thoughts and for your continuous work!
I realize this "property" would require a new field in the database, so probably a long shot indeed ;) I was just sharing ideas.
I already limit the dimensions of the pictures I upload, they are 1920 px tops, usually 1024 px.
Truth is, no matter what means are implemented, if a user sees a picture, it is already physically on their device anyway :)
Thank you, I hope I reach the stars indeed :)
