Hey, travel souls :) I know many has visited or heard of this big Greek island.

I've been there several time myself and thinking of it, I would love to return many more times.

It is a place that has something for everyone. Now, what attracts me the most?

I better place a list :)

Let's start with this particular sunset photo and I'll tell you why it is unique.

It's unique 'cause I took that picture from the comfort of the balcony of the very nice and affordable room we rented just two meters away from the pebbly shore, probably a meter above the sea level. Not to mention the glass of awesome white Greek wine I was having at the same time :)

I loved to lay down in the bed and listen to the sea waves...

There is a good road that circles around the island.

One can never have enough wonderful seascapes, right?

Small cozy beaches, that feel as private.

I love taking walks by the mooring fishing and cruise boats and yachts at sunset.

In the past there were mines on the island and nowadays, this adds a pinch of mysticism.

I really love letting my sight hover away to the horizon, sliding on the sea surface...

There are plenty of hidden gems when traveling in the inner parts of the island too...

The Balkan type of architecture could be found present in many old houses.

For the artistic and the spiritual souls, there are few places of interest as well. Like this modern marble zodiac installation.

Yes, I salute you! :)

Another art installation at a almost hidden beach next to another abandoned mine. Wow, this gives so many different emotions.

Time here really flies and that usually happens when it is spent in a quality manner!

Time to meditate through rock-pile-Zen.

Or have a cup of Greek coffee with nothing between you and the endlessness.

Yes, we had our morning coffees on that table :)

Sports? Yes, beach volleyball under the droplets of the coming rainstorm!

There are few marble beaches, the scenes are paradise-like. Imagine that - you walk not on yellow sand but on tiny marble spheres, a product of the sea waves for thousands of years...

Endless options to finish the day in a beautiful and delicious way at a tavern by the shore, enjoying the hospitality of the people of Thasos, Greece, drinking some Ouzo, consuming Greek sea food and sinking into another breathtaking sunset...

I really hope I managed to pass to you at least a small part of what I feel and experience while traveling this beautiful piece of paradise on Earth...
