Writing competition "149" based on my digital image. Now you are the author of "Alien Monster"

How are you all my friends? I hope you are all well and healthy. Today I am going to participate in a wonderful writing competition organised by @xpilar. He shared a digital art for us and asked us to write a story based on it. After looking at the picture, a strange world appeared in my imagination. I thought, what would it be like if the sky we know suddenly changed? I have composed my story based on that thought. I hope you like it.

A small dinghy began floating in the middle of a large ocean. There was silence all around, no longer even the sound of the wind. All around, the sound of water can be heard. A boy named Rafat, sitting inside the boat, was searching at the sky and muttering to the female named Mili, who was with him. Mili, we're not on the earth. What do you assert about love, Mili? Then Rafat said, look up. I can see that the sky above is gone.

Milly didn't want to believe it at first. When she looked up, her throat was dry with fear. She saw the scene above, and the water bottle fell from her hand onto the boat. She saw that there was no blue sky above, no clouds. The entire horizon was taken over by a gigantic, primitive being.

Thousands of huge, flexible trunks of green cung from above. Rafat noticed that the trunks were not like ordinary trees. They had strange geometric patterns on them. Dark purple and dark red circles on the bright green. It seemed that some cosmic octopus was trying to wrap its millions of arms around the entire planet. The reality was even more terrifying than it seemed in the picture.

The most terrifying thing was that the thing was moving. Very slowly, but rhythmically. As if the entire sky was breathing through that tree.

As they were thinking like this, Rafat suddenly said, "Mili, I think they're coming down," and after hearing this, Milli became even more terrified. Mili's voice was filled with terror.

Indeed, that tangled green wooded area turned into descending in the direction of the water grade by grade, much like in the picture. It was regarded that they had been thirsty, eager to suck up the salty water of the ocean. Just underneath the trunks, a coil of intense mild is forming on the floor of the water. Was that an alien sun? Or some sort of death lure for that monster?

The light was so intense that Rafat's eyes were dazzled. But in that light, he saw the monster's true form. A wet, slippery coating was glistening on the trunks.

Rafat realised that there was no other way to escape. This monster was no ordinary creature; this was a living sky. They may have been trapped in some unknown dimension during their space journey, where the sky itself is the hunter and the creatures below are its prey.

Milli squeezed Rafat's hand tightly. The green-purple tangle above their heads had now reached about a few feet above their boat. The air was getting heavier with a hissing sound. Rafat was remembering all his memories for the last time and was telling Milli that they would meet on the other side. When they looked at that terrible light. He thought that perhaps people want to know the unknown just to see this beauty, even if the end result is death.
