Blessings
A blessing is the expression of a benign desire that is directed to a person, a group of people, or even an object, and that, through the expression itself, becomes concrete. This means that, at the same time that the blessing is pronounced, the action of blessing is materialized.
This term is also used to denominate everything that is believed to be obtained by divine intermediation, as is the case when a priest invokes God to bless, or by the will of a person.
These photographs belonging to my personal archive of images, correspond to last Palm Sunday, celebrated at the end of March, when the priest, before the celebration of the mass, blessed all the parishioners in a dramatization of the entrance of Jesus to Jerusalem carried out in a nearby park, before entering the church to continue with the religious service.
As I have described in previous publications, I used the editing tools offered by Picsart and Snapseed applications to intervene the original image to my satisfaction.
Bendiciones
Una bendición es la expresión de un deseo benigno que se dirige a una persona, a un grupo de personas, o incluso, a un objeto, y que, a través de la propia expresión, se concreta. Esto significa que, al mismo tiempo en que se pronuncia la bendición, se materializa la acción de bendecir.
También se emplea este término para denominar todo aquello que se cree que se obtiene por intermediación divina, como es el caso cuando un sacerdote invoca a Dios para bendecir, o por la voluntad de una persona.
Estas fotografías pertenecientes a mi archivo personal de imágenes, corresponden al pasado Domingo de Ramos, celebrado a finales del mes de Marzo, cuando el sacerdote, antes de la celebración de la misa, bendijo a todos los feligreses en una dramatización de la entrada de Jesús a Jerusalén realizada en un parque cercano, antes de ingresar a la iglesia para continuar con el servicio religioso.
Tal como lo he descrito en publicaciones anteriores, usé las herramientas de edición que ofrecen las aplicaciones Picsart y Snapseed para intervenir las imágenes originales a mi entera satisfacción.
