Christmas

In Venezuela, we usually celebrate Christmas on the night of December 24 with a family dinner featuring traditional dishes that are prepared especially for these festivities and are not usually eaten during the rest of the year.

On this occasion, as on other occasions, I was invited to my sister's in-laws' house, where we stayed until after midnight, after which I took my mother to her apartment and then went straight to mine.

At some point during the evening, we went out to the backyard of the house where we were staying for the usual photo session, where I was able to capture an image of my 23-year-old nephew as he tried to reach his girlfriend on the phone.

To process the photos, I used the editing tools offered by the free versions of the Picsart and Snapseed applications to edit the original images to my complete satisfaction.

Navidad

En Venezuela acostumbramos celebrar la Navidad la noche del 24 de Diciembre, con una cena familiar en la que se sirven platos tradicionales que se elaboran especialmente para estas festividades, y que no suelen consumirse en el resto del año.

En esta ocasión, al igual que otras veces, fuí invitado a la casa de los suegros de mi hermana, donde compartimos hasta pasada la medianoche, luego de lo cual llevé a mi madre a su apartamento para enseguida dirigirme al mío.

En algún momento de la velada, salimos al jardín trasero de la casa donde nos encontrabamos, para la usual sesión de fotos, donde pude capturar una imagen de mi sobrino de 23 años de edad, mientras buscaba comunicarse con su novia por teléfono.

Para procesar las fotos usé las herramientas de edición que ofrecen las aplicaciones Picsart y Snapseed en sus versiones gratuitas para intervenir las imágenes originales a mi entera satisfacción.
