🌻 From a Simple Jar to a Decorative Sunflower Vase
Turning an Ordinary Jar into Something Beautiful

Many decorative projects start with items that would otherwise be forgotten or discarded. This vase is a perfect example. Instead of throwing away a simple glass jar, I decided to give it a second life by transforming it into a decorative piece that could brighten any corner of my home or garden.

I enjoy finding creative ways to reuse everyday objects, and this project proved that a little imagination can completely change the appearance of something ordinary.

Materials Used

For this transformation, I used:

A glass jar
Decorative textured paint
A sunflower sticker
Protective varnish (optional)
Basic cleaning materials

The goal was to create a rustic and warm design that would look attractive both indoors and outdoors.

The Transformation Process
Step 1 – Preparing the Jar

First, I thoroughly cleaned the jar to remove any dust, labels, or adhesive residue. A clean surface is essential for achieving a smooth and durable finish.

Step 2 – Creating the New Surface

Once the jar was dry, I applied a textured decorative coating. This completely changed the appearance of the glass, giving it a ceramic-like look. The warm beige color created the perfect background for the floral design I had in mind.

Step 3 – Adding the Sunflower Design

After the surface had fully dried, I carefully applied a sunflower sticker to the front of the jar. The bright colors instantly brought the vase to life and created a beautiful contrast against the neutral background.

Step 4 – Final Touches

To increase durability, a protective clear coat can be added. This helps preserve the decoration and gives the vase a more professional appearance.
