Haifa from the AirsteemCreated with Sketch.

In the photos, there is a view from an airplane window during a flight over the coast of Israel. Below, Haifa and the surrounding area are clearly visible. The photos were taken from a high altitude, so the city and nature look like a single map, where everything comes together into one picture.

In the first shots, the sea is visible. The water is calm, lighter in some places due to sunlight reflections, and darker and deeper in others. The coastline is long, with smooth curves. The difference between the open sea and the coastal zone is clearly visible, where the water is lighter and more transparent. Beneath the surface, rocks and the seabed relief can be seen. This is a typical Mediterranean landscape, familiar to anyone who has been to northern Israel.

Next, the Port of Haifa appears in the frame. From above, it looks very orderly. Container terminals, piers, long breakwaters, and cranes are arranged in strict geometry. Ships look small, although in reality they are large vessels. It is clearly visible how the port is separated from the open sea by protective structures. All this infrastructure emphasizes that Haifa is an important industrial and logistics center of the country.

In the following photos, there is more land visible. Industrial areas, warehouses, roads, interchanges, and parking lots can be seen. Cars look like small dots. The roofs of buildings are light-colored, and many of them are covered with solar panels. This is a familiar detail for Israel, especially in industrial areas. From above, the city looks dense but at the same time logically organized. You can see where the main transport routes run, where production facilities are concentrated, and where there are still undeveloped areas of land.
