Digital illustration greek mythology | The enchantress [100% Power Up]

Hello everyone, here is the latest work in progress in my series about Women and Mythology.
This one represents Circe, an enchantress living on an isolated island. She had the power to turn men into beasts, especially wolves and lions, using magical potions.

In Homer's Odyssey, Odysseus and his crew arrived on the island of Aeaea, where Circe resided. She turned the men into pigs, except Odysseus who was protected by an herb given by Hermes. He eventually stayed with her for one year before continuing his journey.

There is still much to do on this illustration and much more to tell about the myth but I will make a more complete post in the next few days. I hope you enjoy this small preview nonetheless.
