Macro Photography - Marasmius Elegans Mushroom
Marasmius Elegans
Hello all World of Xpilar friends
Back again with me @novaamalia in the @xpilar and @aceh-team communities, in this post, I will share content about macro photography that is still my favorite photography theme for me to do when I have free time. Taking photos of micro plants using a macro lens will produce images of interesting things about the object, and there will be many other things that we will meet.
For the last few weeks the weather has been unstable, sometimes hot and the past few days the rainy weather is covering the city where I live which makes the surrounding environment wet and humid, this afternoon when the rain stopped I went to my backyard to look for macro photography objects and I found mushrooms that look fresh and moist growing on the rotten mossy logs.
I found a mixed red-orange mushroom with a size of 10 to 15mm growing on dry wood twigs with a round hood like a hat, the stem of this mushroom is short and white. The results from Google lens say that this mushroom I found has the name Orange Bonnet with the scientific name Mycena acicula - source which usually thrives in humid and wet conditions.
After looking in more detail, I doubted that the mushroom I photographed belonged to the Mycenaceae family of mushrooms, I felt that this mushroom was similar to the Marasmius species but when I searched using GoogleLens, the results show was more like Mycena mushrooms.
Regardless of whether that type is correct, I'm still amazed to see this mushroom after capturing it with my Smartphone and an additional 100mm macro lens because when I saw it, the photographs obtained using the macro lens were quite large, the stem and shape of the mushroom look very charming when viewed from a macro perspective.
