Magical Morning
I pause for a moment to enjoy the sunrise view, although the sky is unfortunately covered with cloudy overcast and morning mist. Resuming my journey, I occasionally stop to take pictures. There's a hut where farmers rest, nestled between two trees, and in front of it lies a lush field of green onions. I use a 50 mm lens to capture the scene. In the distance, morning mist begins to descend as I continue my journey.

Six Years Ago...
Today marks my completion of six years on Steemit. Call it an anniversary or steemversary, I have never written anything in its honour before (I may be wrong though - thanks to my poor memory).

We went to Fukushimagata 福島潟, a freshwater lagoon located in the narrow flatland between the Sea of Japan and the mountains, and which has already been our destination a few times. The word "gata 潟" contained in the word "Fukushimagata" means lagoon, but actually it is not really a lagoon, but a lake, which is fed by many small streams.

Personally, I have had some seriously life changing diversions and de-rails over the years and if there is one lesson I have now got acutely drummed into my head, it is that you HAVE to learn how to pivot in life. “Adapt or die” is probably a slightly more blunt way of phrasing that, lol - but essentially it is one and the same.
Did the World of Crypto Let Us All Down?
But sometimes I feel a bit let down because it seems like the entire concept instead ended up dominated by what I can only call "Wall Street Greed." These days, it seems like most people in the Cryptosphere are more concerned with "When Lambo?" than with whether or not we're creating something groundbreaking and game changing for the world.
Going with the flow today
Stats show I did engage with you guys. Let me assure you that I tried to remain as honest and meaningful as I could. Challenges are another story, but even in those, I never commented without reading. Okay, skimming sometimes. I'm an avid reader, by the way. But I always read before commenting. In those challenges, I still have the stance that pointing and commenting on every aspect of the post is the moderator's job. Still, I tried my best to engage. But sadly, I never won. 😉
