Hello beautiful people! I hope you're all doing great and if you're not, you will be soon! I participate again in the art contest of WORLD OF XPILAR and for this participation and as usual, I made an original drawing. This character came out of my thoughts, maybe it has a reason, but I liked it and I think it was very good, so here I share it with you.

¡Hola gente bonita! Espero estén super bien todos y si no lo están, pronto lo estarán! Vuelvo a participar en el concurso de arte de WORLD OF XPILAR y para esta participacion y como es de costumbre, hice un dibujo original. Es personaje me salio de mis pensamientos, tal vez tenga un porque, pero me gusto y creo que quedo muy bien, así que aquí se los comparto.

I started making the sketch in my sketchbook, structuring the whole drawing. Most of the times I usually do original characters or portraits, I always do them from the front, because I master that perspective and this drawing was not going to be an exception.

Comencé haciendo el boceto en mi sketchbook, estructurando todo el dibujo. La gran mayoría de las veces en que suelo hacer personajes o retratos originales, siempre los hago de frente, porque domino mas esa perspectiva y este dibujo, no iba a hacer la excepción.

I added a few elements to the drawing, for example I made her hair a little bit different, like in a kind of balls, simulating that it is gathered. I also added some butterflies and horns, as it is something I like to add to my drawings, it gives it a darker touch. When I have the sketch ready, I pass over it with a moldable eraser to remove the excess of graphite from the pencil and I leave it clean to start detailing everything.

Le agregue unos cuantos elementos al dibujo, como por ejemplo que su cabello lo hice un tanto diferente, como en una especie de bolas, simulando que esta recogido. También le agregue algunas mariposas y cuernos, ya que es algo que me gusta mucho agregar a mis dibujos, le da un toque mas oscuro. Cuando tengo listo el boceto, paso por encima de este un borrador moldeable para quitar el exceso de grafito del lápiz y lo dejo limpio para comenzar a detallar todo.

To work the details, what I do is to work with three different mechanical pencils, which have different thicknesses for each lead and that allows me to have in a way, a good work of contrast in the drawing, as you can perceive different lines ranging from the thinnest to the thickest.

Para trabajar los detalles, lo que hago es trabajar con tres portaminas diferentes, los cuales tienen grosores distinto para cada mina y eso me permite tener de cierto modo, un buen trabajo de contraste en el dibujo, ya que se pueden percibir distintas lineas que van desde las mas delgadas a las mas gruesas.

I make a first line art with a mechanical pencil of 0.5 millimeters and after that, I work with a second mechanical pencil of 0.7 millimeters, to detail areas where I want the line to look a little thicker, like for example; the face. And I finish all the rest of the drawing, with a 2 mm pencil, to give the necessary contrast to the whole composition. I finish the drawing adding final details, that basically are all the shines that we can see in the same one and ready friends, that would be everything.

Hago un primer line art con un portaminas de 0.5 milímetros y luego de ello, trabajo con un segundo portaminas de 0.7 milímetros, para detallar zonas en donde quiero que la linea se vea un poco mas gruesa, como por ejemplo; la cara. Y termino todo el resto del dibujo, con un portaminas de 2 milímetros, para darle el contraste necesario a toda la composición. Termino el dibujo agregando detalles finales, que básicamente son todos los brillos que podemos ver en el mismo y listo amigos, eso seria todo.
