#Club100- An Adventurous Trip - Tatlica Waterfalls

Hi dear Steemians;

Visiting Tatlıca Waterfalls is one of our favorite activities we do every year when we meet up with my cousins. This is not only a beautiful area, but also a place where you can do a lot of fun activity.

Let me give you general information about this place before we start our waterfall tour. These waterfalls are located in Sinop, Erfelek district. This set of waterfalls consists of 28 waterfalls of varying sizes.
These waterfalls are on Karacasu Stream and trekking can be done in the region. You can reach the summit by climbing over the waterfalls, as some waterfalls are very high, you can climb to the waterfall using ropes here. Just like the real Survivor competition.

Some of the 28 waterfalls are up to 5 meters high. We also like to get out of this waterfall collectively and drink ice-cold ayran from the cafe on the summit. For this reason, we visit this waterfall at least once a year. There is also a forested road leading to the summit. However, the real fun comes from climbing the waterfalls. This is what makes this place different and special.

Since the water flow decreases in summer, you can reach the summit without getting your feet wet. This year, the first week of May was more challenging as we made this fun trip. The flow was high, so our feet got wet while crossing the river. In addition, the rocks were slippery due to algae. For this reason, I fell into the water a few times, despite being careful. As you can see from the photos, my clothes got wet and muddy.

Despite the mud and water, we did not neglect to take photos during this journey. However, we did not use our phones, as we focused on climbing carefully, especially during the climbing moments.

We had taken the risk of getting our feet wet on the way here, so we brought spare shoes. But we made a big mistake and forgot to bring spare socks. For this reason, we were quite cold on the way back. But it was worth the journey nonetheless.

There is also a picnic area at the entrance of the park. Even those who do not aim to climb the waterfall in this forested area can have a pleasant time here. For example, we visit this place as a family during the summer months. While the elders of the family barbecue and prepare the meals in the picnic area, the young people climb the waterfalls. In addition, there are places where pancakes are made for those who do not want to have a barbecue.
