Last month I had to give Steemit a little bit for the first time and unfortunately, I could not share content. But during this process, I did not stop knitting and completed different projects. Today I will share what I did during this process.

The First Sweater I Ever Knitted👚🧶

First of all, I would like to start with the sweater that took the longest time to produce and that I am most proud of completing. Yes, yes, I knitted a sweater all by myself and that was a great achievement for me. I got help from YouTube videos, but I didn't think the result would be so beautiful. Even though I made mistakes because it was my first time knitting a sweater, it was a very instructive project for me. However, I think I won't have the opportunity to wear this sweater much because it is very warm and the winters are mild in Antalya where I live. For this reason, although it doesn't seem like I will need this sweater a lot, I will definitely wear it on the coldest days of the year.

Paw Shaped Coaster🐾

The second handmade product I will share with you is a coaster. It was my mom's idea to knit this product because I am a person who often consumes coffee and green tea during the day. Naturally, coffee tables etc. can be stained from time to time, so my mother, who knows my fondness for knitting, came to me with this idea. I knitted this coaster from the pieces of yarn at home. Those who know me know that I am fond of cats and dogs. For this reason, I love to collect items reminiscent of cats or dogs. By knitting a paw-shaped coaster, I added a new product with animal figures to my collection. I used macrame rope while knitting, but it can also be knitted from figures using a thinner yarn. When knitted with thin yarn, it can also be used as motifs on clothes, blankets, etc. I preferred to use it for coasters.

My third product is also a multi-purpose product. It can also be called a recycling project. I preferred to use this product as a pencil holder. I used a mini glass jar that I had at home with this cover that I knitted around it using raffia yarn. You can also use this product for different purposes such as candle holders and vases. Thanks to this product, which I knitted in about an hour, I made use of the piece of rope and jar left at home and I had a stylish decorative product.

And of course, I couldn't resist knitting a bag hahaha. If you have visited my past posts, you will see that I have knitted many bags in the past. I use these bags both myself and they are a nice gift alternative to gift to my loved ones. In addition, if I can find a buyer, I sell these bags and earn a mini income. In this process, I knitted two new bags. I knitted the mini bag on the left with raffia yarn. I will use this bag myself because I like to use tiny bags daily. The bag on the right is a gift for my mom. I knitted this bag with polyester macrame yarn. I actually started it for myself, but my mom liked it so much that I gave it to her as a gift.

This is what I knitted during the time we couldn't meet. Knitting while watching TV and drinking coffee is a great fun for me. I have gotten so used to knitting that I feel incomplete when I watch TV without knitting something. Also, creating products and using them in my daily life makes me very happy. For this reason, it is very likely that you will see new products that I knit in my future posts.
