My pics of flower Lantana trifolia / by @pedrosito1969
Hello friends, here I bring you some photos taken by me on my trip to Germany in 2008, photos of a Lantana trifolia flower, in the Bürgergarten of Hameln, these flowers are very beautiful, wikipedia says of them:
The purple cariaquito, Lantana trifolia, is a perennial shrub with 3 leaves at each node; the leaves lanceolate, with orange glands on the underside, with dense and cylindrical spikes, with the lower bracts long pointed; ripe juicy fruits and lilac or purple color.
This species, a very common tropical shrub in Central and South America, the Caribbean and Hawaii, although it can be found in Africa and Madagascar, directly related to the well-known Lantana camara, is also cultivated basically as an ornamental; in Venezuela, mystical and esoteric properties are assigned to it to ward off bad fortune or "bad luck." Hence the phrase: "Bathe with a cariaquito purple."
I hope you liked my photos, until next time friends of the World of Xpilar community.
