Orchid Festival
Welcome to Madagascar! This is the country that the annual orchid show in the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew features this year. Madagascar is where unique wildlife can still be found.
This island is made up of tropical forests, desserts, coast, rainforests and plateaus, all home to distinctive creatures and flowers.
Malagasy is used to describe the people of Madagascar and it is the name of the native language spoken on the island. Both French and Malagasy are official languages in Madagascar.
Stay tuned as I will also share photographs of the orchid festival after hours.
