Hello everyone, here we are again with more good news from planetwild. Yesterday I received an email from the team that I would like to share with you today. It's nice to see that the project continues to be very successful and the number of supporters increase.
We’re really excited to announce that starting from our next mission, we’re significantly increasing our mission budget! 💪
From the very beginning, we promised you that the bigger our community got, the more money we would invest in rewilding projects around the world. This month, we are excited to make this promise a reality.
When we started a year ago, membership fees only covered a fraction of our rewilding missions’ costs. However, earlier this year, we saw a huge boost in contributions, which has allowed us to cover 100% and even upgrade our mission budget! 📈
So far, our missions have typically received between €10,000€ and €12,000 each. Tomorrow, we’ll be launching our 13th mission, which has invested €19,000 to help protect sun bears in Borneo 🐻. But that’s not all. In our April mission, we will invest a massive €27,000 to monitor and protect blue whales! 🐳
We will continue to increase our mission budgets as our community grows. We’ll keep you updated on these developments and report back on the numbers in our annual Financial Report. The first report will be released in May 📋
