'Horch', pre-world war two model, I did not remember the exact name. Quite appealing look-out too! especially in this eye-catching blue colour.
'Delaunay Belleville' model from (1914). Actually this is a replica created by Lenfilm studious in 2005; it took part in production of more than 30 films after that. Fascinating device!!
Soviet old-timers from 1960-es, when cars were available only to rich people (the country was very poor).
This is very special soviet vintage car from 1939: ZIS-101 (ZIC is an abbreviation for 'Factory dedicated to Stalin'). A very special car: ZIS-101. From 1936 to 1940, 8,000 of these were produced, and of course most did not survive to our days. Usually these were used by very important persons, high-ranking party officials, and of course members of the government. This certain copy, as I learned, was found in one of the garages somewhere in southern Russia. The owner offered it for sale in its current form or with restoration work included. I did not begin to find out the prices, although I was curious. The car is truly luxurious!
Очень особенная машинка: ЗИС-101. C 1936 по 1940 год было выпущено 8 000 таких суперкаров, большинство конечно не дожили до наших дней. В них ездили важные персоны, партийные и государственные чиновники высоких рангов, и конечно члены правительства. Данный экземпляр, как я узнал, был найден в одном из гаражей на юге России. Владелец предлагал ее к продаже, в текущем виде или с работами по восстановлению. Я не стал выяснять цену вопроса, хотя мне было любопытно. Машинка конечно роскошная!

August Horch died as an impoverished honorary citizen on February 13, 1951. Translated to Latin horch = audi, now the name AUDI was born today a highly sought after automobile brand
that was a hard time to everybody ( except maybe americans?.. they had a baby-boom soon after that...)
the Horch is one of the grandfathers of the actuall german Car manufacturer AUDI ;)
Yes, this name maybe is not known so well as 'Mersedes' or 'Rolls-Royce', but it isnt an outbred stranger xD
