The Power Of Being At The Right Location
One of the major reasons behind the struggles and frustration of a lot of people in this era is not because they are doing something wrong but simply because they are not in the right location. If you take a fish out from the water and put it on your very comfortable bed, it will struggle and die. Even though the bed may be comfortable for you but not for the fish. Right location is exclusively determined by the individual. That something is working for someone does not mean that you should put yourself there because it may not work for you. This is why you have to discover the right location that is suitable for everything you want to do per time.
If you want to start up a business for example, as you are doing your feasibility studies and your fundamental analysis, you also need to include location to it. In fact, the "where" plays a very vital role in the success of any business. There are businesses that are based on a particular location, while some others may not be suitable for it. For example; if you want to start a business of repairing household electric generators, and you decide to open the business in a location that has light 24/7 how will the business thrive? The fact is, they have constant light, so they will have no need to use generator, so there will be nothing to repair. Which means that the business will not thrive.
There was a time I did a fish pond business some years back. I had gathered some knowledge of the best kind of feed to give the fish from fingerlings up till maturity even before I started. I believed that feed was the primary requirement for the growth of fish. When I started, I gave it all what I thought was good, but the fish were stunted and the way I expected them to grow was not what I saw. After a few weeks of trying to manage them, I had to talk with my friend who is into large-scale fish production and he asked to see the nature of the pond.
When he came to inspect the pond, he calmly asked me how I expect the fish to grow in that location. He explained to me that the space was too small for that number of fish and the water was too shallow. He asked me to get more ponds and space out the fish out. When I did, in less than two weeks, I noticed a very rapid improvement on the size of the fish and I realized that location places a very crucial role in the determination of success. When you feel like you are not doing well in life, most times, it may not be as a result of what you are doing or when you are doing it, it might just be where (location) you are doing it. Doing the right thing even at the right time, but in a very wrong location, will not deliver the required good result.
It is worthy to note that location can change with time as the trend of event changes. Where was right for you yesterday may not remain right today and forever, so you need to be sensitive to know when to move. As the world evolves and new trends emerge, you should also know that requirements for locations will also change. In fact, if you stay for so long in a place where you need to move out from, no matter how much you have achieved before in the place, it might get corrupt. Success can be influenced greatly by where you are at the moment.
When you are at the right location, the very little effort you put into place will look like it is amplified. The people you see succeeding effortlessly might just be because they are in the right location for them per time. Even in a football match for example, when you play a left winger in a right wing, if he is not a natural right winger, he may struggle without making much impact because of the location. But when he is playing his natural wing, he will experience ease. In order to have ease in your life, you need to always try to be at the right location.
