Giant Anthill - gem in the forest and reminiscing about the past

Hello everyone.
Last time when I visited nearby forest where I live I came across this big beautiful Anthill. We went to look for a Cantarion flowers for the tea and this was nice surprise.
This is so huge Anthill and when you see one from the close you can see all the movement on it and such complexity and simplicity at once.
Again there is a story about big anthill. When I was kid we were going in field of ours and here on the border with another field there was big anthill like this. I remember when ever we went there I would check on this Anthill which was huge. These big ants were all over it working and entering and exiting the anthill. I found it quite interesting and it was lovely memory from the childhood. Couple months back I visited this field again and of course after I walked around the field and revived some memories I went to the exact place of the big Anthill. Sadly it was not there anymore. Yet again it was nice to visit that place where anthill was. And now I come across one more similar big anthill.
It is not that much common or at least I did not see much Anthill in our area but this one was quite big .

While walking around edge of the forest in look for Cantarion flowers we entered this one part of the forest where smaller pine trees and bushes grow. And here I saw the Anthill.

It is near one smaller pine tree. Good place since tree branches cover some parts of the Anthill.

And closer you look the more beautiful it gets.
There are holes on the surface of the anthill and ants are moving over it.
Anthill is covered with small dry grass parts and tree branches or pine needles.
Such interesting texture.

You can see entries or exits on the surface.

So many different materials on one place.

Lovely Anthill and lovely home. Seeing one big Anthill like this brings up nice memories.
