The Messenger Bird

The truth can be a dangerous thing

I was at a bookstore, looking for books that fit my taste, which is crime, mystery, and suspense. After digging through the books, I finally found one, which was
The Messenger Bird by Ruth Eastham.
Without reading the description, I picked up the book because I knew I wouldn’t regret buying it.

I have this bad habit of reading books months after I buy them. I usually read two or three pages once a week. Then, close the book. But when I come to read, I finish the same book at night. I did the same thing this time. I read this book months after I bought it. When I started reading it, I couldn’t stop when a birthday boy, Nathan, saw two men taking his father away without a trace before his eyes.

Why did he take his father?
What will he do?
How will he find him?

When he can’t he trusts anyone else? His father said.
This story is full of emotions, feelings, and mysteries.
Does he have to find his father alone or the secret?
What was the secret?
He was alone until he trusted his friends Josh, Sasha.
It's probably a good move!

It was a mystery with all the codes and letters and scary until he had to find Lily.

Who was Lily? What does she want from Nathan?

Would you like to read it and find the secret?

Sort:

The way you described the book, it sounds really interesting.
I would definitely want to read it too just to know the secret.
And I can totally relate to reading a whole book in one night.

Sure, if you want it you can have it.
