When a friend ask; what do you notice when you are travelling?

Today I was returning from university with my friend. One of my classmates, we are quite close even though we both have different personalities. So we used an auto(رکشہ) for pick and drop from college. As usual, we were both going to our respective homes so she asked me what do you see when you travel?
What are the things that you notice first?

I was completely blank that was my immediate reaction. I often answer like this. So, I started thinking about what I actually look for or notice. A couple of minutes later I said beauty like flower shops, old homes, or the pristine beauty of old people. And she said ah I know that. Was I like do I give off old lady vibes? How does she know that?
Well, then I asked her and she said obviously cars. I was like wow.. how can I forget cars.
I also see cars, she said she even thinks about which one she's going to buy. It was interesting. She drives deep into it. Then we start talking about which car we're going to buy, all that stuff.

Now, I started thinking that whenever I go out, I always capture things. What are my main focuses?
Maybe nature or ancient beauty. I've never done portrait photography there because I feel shy. Quite strange.
Then I go through my photography album and find the moments I had during the trip and what my focus was in capturing those things, how I saw those things.

It was all covered in dirt. Standing alone but enough to grab attention. It tells me that place matters, environment matters too. If this vase were in the right place or in the right hands, it should be clean. But only for the owner. Everyone here can see it. But not everyone can see the vase. When I saw it, I couldn’t see it. People weren’t even looking that way. In my opinion, this vase made the place beautiful, and certainly ancient to me. I sometimes admire my way of thinking. Not turning but still I feel that way.

You see the sunset through the side mirror of a motorcycle. I don’t remember when I clicked this picture but it was a good time. I remember I was waiting for my father, who was at the grocery store. I was standing there looking around and then I saw this. I love it.

If you want to see beauty, you can see it everywhere. If you want to see it, I will say it again.

Bangles stall.
I personally don't like it but the fact is or I can say a legend when I showed this to my sister she said this picture creates a story in her mind. A bangle stall is open only for ghosts in the evening. Weird!
