Character design process breakdown in a GIF format
Character design i made for Saving Throw Studios
Brief:
The character is Dublin. He is the co-leader of a mercenary group called Shamrock in the REDLINE universe. They are a kinda Irish themed band of mercenaries, the other leader is Irish, and is in charge of repairing and scavenging mechs for Shamrock pilots to use in battle. As such, he is resourceful and enjoys putting mechs together almost like a kid playing with their building blocks. He has made some pretty cool designs for Shamrock to use which he is proud of.
His personality is happy go lucky. High confidence and resourceful. But his mind is always thinking about his next mech build so he can come off as distracted at times.
If it helps, we loosely based him off Barret and his look in Final Fantasy 7. (Minus the gun arm lol)
