Mi día hoy comenzó muy temprano, me levante a las 5:30 a.m porque tenía una cita en el hospital a las 8:00 am. Cita que me habían dado en el centro para ayudarme a que me retiraran el neplanon (método anticonceptivo introducido en el brazo) ya que por los momentos no lo están retirando a menos que sean casos extremos, es decir que debes acceder a centros privados donde están cobrando hasta 40$ por retirarlo, mi caso empezó a presentarse hace como dos semanas atrás, después de un año, el aparato empezó a hacerme dolerme el brazo y de noche el dolor me impide dormir, motivo por el cual lo correcto es que me lo retire, además que he estado perdiendo peso de forma notoria, por esa razón me dieron cita en el centro para la extracción.
My day started very early today, I got up at 5:30 a.m. because I had an appointment at the hospital at 8:00 a.m. The appointment that they had given me in the center to help me remove the neplanon (contraceptive method inserted in the arm) since at the moment they are not withdrawing it unless they are extreme cases, that is, you must access private centers where they are charging up to 40$ to remove it, my case began to appear about two weeks ago, after a year, the device began to make my arm ache and at night the pain prevents me from sleeping, which is why the right thing to do is to do it withdraw, also that I have been losing weight noticeably, for that reason they gave me an appointment at the center for the extraction.
A las 6:40 a.m ya estábamos listas, mi mama me acompaño. Me tome una foto antes de salir de la casa y trate de tomarme una con mi mama pero ella no quiso (no le gustan mucho las fotos)

Como de costumbre caminamos desde la entrada de la urbanización donde vivo hasta la parada de buses, el ambiente estaba súper cálido y como rutina normal, se podía observar diversos transeúntes, aunque lo malo es que debido a las constantes lluvias el monte ha crecido mucho y se ve algo boscoso

Llegamos al hospital a eso de las 7:30 pero los doctores aún no habían llegado por lo que decidimos ir a Farmatodo, ya que mi mama iba a preguntar por unas vitaminas. A las 8:30 a.m volvimos al hospital, y no nos querían dejar entrar porque el doctor que aún no había llegado, pero el señor vigilante después de 2 minutos nos dejó pasar y fuimos hasta sala de parto que era el lugar donde encontraría al doctor, la asistente nos dijo que efectivamente no había llegado que esperáramos en la sala, una hora después el doctor mando un mensaje diciendo que se le había presentado un inconveniente y no podría asistir. En ese momento quería llorar, porque la muchacha, o sea la enfermera me dijo que el doctor solo atendía casos de extracción de implantes los días miércoles, es decir que tendría que esperar una semana. Cuando nos íbamos mi mama se le ocurrió la idea de preguntar si había otro doctor a cargo, por lo que me recomendaron otro doctor de la misma área, pero aún no había llegado, decidimos esperar.
We arrived at the hospital around 7:30, but the doctors had not yet arrived, so we decided to go to Farmatodo since my mother was going to ask for some vitamins. At 8:30 a.m. we returned to the hospital, and they did not want to let us in because the doctor who had not yet arrived, but the vigilant man allowed us to pass after 2 minutes and we went to the delivery room, which was the place where he would find the doctor, the assistant told us that indeed he had not arrived to wait in the room, an hour later the doctor sent a message saying that he had a problem and he could not attend. At that moment I wanted to cry, because the girl, that is, the nurse told me that the doctor only attended cases of implant removal on Wednes days, that is to say, that he would have to wait a week. When we were leaving, my mother came up with the idea of asking if there was another doctor in charge, so they recommended another doctor from the same area, but he had not arrived yet, we decided to wait.
Esperamos como dos horas, tiempo en el que nos pasó un show, mi mama cerrando el frasco de antibacterial, le cayó en los ojos y le picaba y con un pañuelo con agua fría que teníamos se limpió los ojos, y en ese trayecto llego el doctor y no lo vimos, así que ahora nos tocaba esperar que el hiciera la revisión general para hablar con él. En este trayecto camine y camine en círculos rogando que pasara rápido el tiempo, quería sentarme, me dolían los pies de estar de pies, y solo veía pasar personas con dolencias, y les juro es muy triste ver a familiares con dolores, mientras esperábamos al doctor, vi pasar a un señor que lo estaban trasladando y se veía que tenía mucho dolor, y la escena me recordó a mi abuelo que falleció hace un año debido a un cáncer de próstata.
We waited two hours, during which time a show happened to us, my mother closing the bottle of antibacterial, it fell in her eyes and it itched and with a handkerchief with cold water that we had she wiped her eyes, and on that way the doctor arrived and we did not see him, so now we had to wait for him to do the general review to talk to him. On this journey I walked and walked in circles praying for time to pass quickly, I wanted to sit down, my feet ached from standing up, and I only saw people with ailments pass by, and I swear to you it is very sad to see relatives in pain, while we waited for the doctor, I saw a man go by who was being transferred and you could see that he was in a lot of pain, and the scene reminded me of my grandfather who died a year ago due to prostate cancer.
Como las 10:20 a.m me acerque de nuevo donde la enfermera para preguntar si el doctor ya había terminado, y en efecto ya había terminado su revisión general, pero me atendió fue su asistente y me dijo que él no podía retirarme el implante porque era un asunto privado y yo confundida con su respuesta le pregunte qué a que se refería y ella me volvió a decir lo mismo, que tenía que esperar que estuviese el otro doctor, mis ánimos se bajaron solo de pensar en esperar una semana más, pero que más podía hacer, la enfermera muy amable me dijo que volviera a ir mañana y hablara con el doctor con quien yo me iba a ver desde un principio pero que no asistió, le dije que así lo haría y nos fuimos.
Around 10:20 a.m., I approached the nurse again to ask if the doctor had already finished, and had indeed already finished his general check-up, but his assistant attended me and he told me that he could not remove the implant because it was A private matter and I was confused with her answer, I asked her what she was referring to and she told me the same thing again, that I had to wait for the other doctor to be there, my spirits were lowered just thinking about waiting another week, but what I could do more, the very kind nurse told me to go back tomorrow and talk to the doctor with whom I was going to see from the beginning but who did not attend, I told him that I would do so and we left.
Fuimos a comprar verduras y llegamos a la casa a eso de la 1 p.m, nos duchamos y mi mama empezó a cocinar.
We went to buy vegetables and got home around 1 p.m., we showered and my mom started cooking
Como a las 3 de la tarde me acosté a dormir y cuando me levante eran las 5:50 p.m, estaba lloviendo y mi mama estaba acostada viendo televisión. Generalmente no me gusta dormir de tarde porque es como si el cansancio me atrapara y a las 7 u 8 p.m ando como zombie..Hoy me acostare temprano y pondré una alarma a las 2 a.m para publicar y después dormiré un rato para levantarme y volver al hospital, rogando me vaya bien.
Around 3 in the afternoon I went to sleep and when I got up it was 5:50 p.m., it was raining and my mother was lying down watching television. Generally, I do not like to sleep late because it is as if fatigue catches me and at 7 or 8 pm I walk like a zombie. Today I will go to bed early and set an alarm at 2 am to post and then I will sleep for a while to get up and go back to the hospital, praying I do well.
