RE: The World of XPILAR - B&W PHOTOGRAPHY AND ART CONTEST WEEK #108 ~ Cork's

Yes, real corks are something special, as a child I was fascinated with the texture of cork. Nowadays many wine sorts have the cap that is to screw, which then makes wine not really so luxury product :)

That is because commercialization has eaten us up, the mass production of bad products has affected the wine industry as well.
High quality wine will always have a cork, but it is more difficult to store it because it must always be laid down so that the cork does not stay dry because air will enter there and the wine will oxidize and must always be at the right temperature.
So in catering such wines are usually ordered directly from private wineries, from their distributors, where they are treated properly and not from shopping malls.
For me, these wine corks are used for decoration, and the champagne corks are bigger and harder, so I always make something from them.

Thank you dear friend for your support!
