Sunset can really be a beautiful and wonderful scene to behold. As we get older, we tend to find time to appreciate nature and its gifts to mankind.
I remember when I was working as a teacher in a small village called Ikot Akpabio in Etinan Local Government Area. Every evening, I'd set up my chair facing the sunset. I'd wear my oversized Yves Saint Laurent sunglasses and sit there, watching the sun slowly disappear into the horizon, painting the clouds with vibrant colours. It was truly amazing to watch.
That was how I enjoyed every closing of the day; it helped reduce my stress and reminded me that no matter how bad a day was, at the end, it would be awesome. Here are some recent photographs of sunset taken close to my street. I hope you enjoy the euphoria of the day by watching these pictures.
