My Vision - (Mixed Media Painting).

Good Day Fellas,

For years, I've always loved and admire abstract art (painting) but I really do not find it easy to bring myself to create it even when I really would love to.

I recently had an assignment that permits that I explore abstract with paint and other materials on canvas. I really couldn't connect with the work but I was at least able to enjoy the processes till the final stage.

I understand that abstract art has a lot to do with storytelling and conceptualization. The totality of this work portrays my vision of my old age as an artist.

The white mustache (cotton wool) implies that the figure is old. The flower symbolises the awards, recognitions and celebrations that must have taken place in my life time as an artist before I became that old.

The objects on the both hands represents brushes used by artist to paint. So, the totality of the work is just about me being a old and successful artist.
