๐ฅ Happy 5 Year (Wood) Anniversary
Today marks 5 years of the-gorilla and the-mrs-gorilla getting married - it feels like longer ๐
So we thought it would be nice to have a family day out and we went to Sheffield Park which is about an hour away from where we live.
Sheffield Park in Autumn is quite simply, beautiful. As Autumn descends and the leaves change colour, this place is a photographer's paradise. The 18th Century manor house, lake, ducks and impressive gardens attracts many a tripod but unfortunately, I'm about as far from a photographer as you'll find and the chances are that my photos will have at least one finger covering the lens. But here are a few photos that I took...

โ 10 ducks followed us (because I gave them an apple core)
And now to the best part of the day - the duck fight...

๐ Then got his ass whooped...
When we got home, we ordered Chinese and enjoyed some duck spring rolls ๐ฆ

Happy anniversary ๐ฅ @the-gorilla I bet the duck spring rolls were tasty. That looks like a scenic area. My favourite photo of the featured here is the third one which shows more than 10 species of trees in a single shot. Just wish the sky was bluer ๐ธ
If the sky were blue, it would've been super busy! We'd hoped that the colours would've changed more so we'll probably go back again soon - it does look amazing as the colours change.
I do love all the shades of red and golden yellow ๐ @the-gorilla Iโve been on the camera hunt for all the colours of autumn few times this year already but in general it turned out that either autumn ๐ is running a bit late or maybe I am a bit impatient ๐
